Drawn from the Hart House Permanent Collection, Love and Scandal encouraged visitors to explore the subjectivity of their interpretations through the lense of personal biases and value systems concerning love and human relationships. As an interactive experience, the experimental format of this exhibition also directly addressed the effects of context, cognitive dissonance, and constructivism as part of interpretive processes.
